Evening, like to introduce myself. I've been given a 1986 accord, with some slight body damage! Currently looking for a OSF door if anyone knows of any lurking in a shed somewhere!

Plan is to get in back on the road was MOT'd til recently, less than 12monts. But got damaged in storage. Once on the road want to do a tour of Europe as it's a left hooker. Only photo I have of her! IMG-20160314-WA008.

    Welcome to HK @Russh91
Pop her in the Club Garage. You can use that photo for now. Once there, she will show on the bottom of your posts and that will help us when helping you.

The bonnet and rear bumper will need some work too.
That series of Accord was fantastic. However, at 30 years old is there anything else that needs attention?

Are you planning on restoring her fully or just get her back on the road again? If you are going to need to replace various bits and bobs, would a donor car be a cheaper option?

Welcome to Honda Karma @Rushwind69 :Hey:

What a great car, is it a carbbed engine for PGMFI ?

Good luck with the hunt for a door but please do post pictures of the damaged area, we maybe able to advice you and it maybe that you don't actually need a replacement door.

Please do pop your car in the club garage (instructions here)

@Russh91 welcome to HK buddy, can you show this door let see the damage even @tviracing can give you input if that door can panel beated or the skin replaced or made up. You could find that door in a Honda specialist breakers yard but finding them is involves a lot of patience.

The door needs an outer skin but that sill is damaged that will take most of the work :Frown:

Il wager the inner skin is also damaged - you can see where, at the bottom of the outer skin, it has pushed against the inner skin near to where they meet causing a definitive crease. The door is also buckled too much for the inner skin not to be damaged.

Realistically, entire door replacement would be needed to get it perfect again as the window wouldn't fit or operate smoothly with a damaged inner skin

Sorry gents, haven't realised how many replies, my thread had received.
The plan would be to get her back on the road and use to road trip through Europe in the summer with some friends, as where would the fun be in doing it in a my 07 SAAB 9-5.
Once back i'd be tempted too move it on, my dad has a collection of cars to be restored 'one day' think if I started filling sheds my Mum would have a fit, although a trip through Europe sounds like a bonding experience so who knows.
But the first thing is to get body work sorted so it can be MOT'd, like I said it's been MOT'd quite recently. It was driven to its currently location and drove quite well apparently.
If anyone knows any one with the a complete door with glass and headlight to replace the damaged one. Any leads would be greatly received.
