And currently I Don't have any.
I'm looking for the headlight and indicator gaskets (?) for Little Blue (89' CR-X, 16v-16i).
Back when I spoke to my local tuning house about picking up a CR-X, the one thing that was empressed upon me was to avoid "loosing or breaking the headlight gaskets, they are rarer then an unmolested Type-R/worth their weight in gold/made of unobtainium."

I utterly forgot those words of wisdom when I first saw Little Blue. Kinda regretting that now.
While looking at my bumper alignment I just noticed how terribly the headlights fit. Popped the bonnet, soon realised why, then it all came flooding back to me like right hooks from Tyson.
I've done some research and spoken with a few pro-Honda mates and contacts this morning and they all gave the same answer: "pfffffft - good luck with that Skip"

    Gits.
I know I am utterly clutching at straws here, but does anyone here know of a 88-91 CR-X/Civic that has these rubbers, so as to facilitate my gaining of this information from?
I'm not looking to buy anyone's gaskets unless they have spare, I'm just looking for the thickness and type of edges I need to order from a rubber stock specialist so as to fit my headlights properly. I'll happily take details of any gaskets for that time period and related cars too so I have them on file for later when I find other missing seals as I go.

Not even Haines can help me!

If noone on here has these specs, I would personally get hold of Honda directly and ask them to give you the specs and then take those to your specialist rubber stockist to get made up.

@SpeedyGee or @Ichiban may be able to help further with specs etc hopefully

Love those CR-X's. best of luck

@Nighthawk would Honda still hold the information? I mean, my cars old enough to smoke in the UK, I would of thought that sort of information would of been deep filed by now and be a pain to access? Either way I might give them an email just out of curiosity what information they do hold on them. It was built in Japan, would this effect who I needed to contact?
Sorry for all the questions, this has been driving me mad all morning!

I personally don't know although I am sure others like @Pottermus and @Beefy would be able to let you know how long info is stored for/easily accessible. I can't imagine Honda would ever get rid of any information like that

Besides which, all you can do is ask, the worse thing they can say is NO, or simply not answer. No harm in trying though.

Just got off the phone with Honda Uk, they are "forwarding your details to HQ and they will contact you in five working days" which is much more then I expected!
    Fingers crossed eh?!

Well, they phoned me back.... And no luck. The specs of the car are lost forever in the annals of time. To TLDR; never digitised, still on paper and would take days to find. I understand their position totally, guess I will just have to keep a ruler on me and an eye out for a car with seals that I can measure and photograph.

Hmmmm.... Wonder if anyone does the whole assembly as single units, that would certainly solve the problem I guess...

Oh totally @Nighthawk , I didn't think they would even attempt to look let alone call me back.
Top work by them, just a shame it didn't work out this time. I would totally call them again if I had an enquiry again.
