    ......watching the game today?

I know it's been awful, but it's England, I can't not watch them.

Getting warmed up for kick off.

Please excuse the state of the window sill, that's where the mutt lays in the sun.

It has to be better than watching the cricket, right?!

Listened to first half on radio on way home and watched second half on telly.

Not a massive football fan but now England is out :Sobbing:

    Come on Japan!

I rushed to the hotel from work to watch the game but dozzed off in middle of it.
    Such a boring game.

I have switched off Footy , my team at the work sweepsake is out , lost money on England and not a happy bunny. The sweepstake at work is worth a 1000.

Blimey 1000 sweepstake, I drew Iran and Nigeria in ours, so I imagine after tonight my slim chance of winning the massive £25 will be gone.

I gave up betting on football after having an 80-1 odds correct scoreline of 2-0 on the game below (Watford v Portsmouth from 2004). When that third goal went in I wanted to celebrate, but just couldn't force myself to...:ShelfShoot:. I think I probably over celebrated the second, but I was on to win a lot. I staked £50...:Fear:. It still hurts even now!!

Funny how some things don't change that much though. That wasn't a brilliant Watford team (they so rarely are!), but to see Ashley Young as an unused substitute seemed spookily familiar to his year at Manchester Utd :Rolf:. TBF, in 2004 he was about 12, but even so.
