Is it possible to split the blue remote on wire that comes from a head unit? I've got two remote on wires which is ample for most cars with an amp and sub but I also need to connect a power antenna which means I need a third one. AFAIK all the remote wire does is output 300ma to indicate that the head unit is on so the amps etc work only when required.

Yes, I have done this when running two amps.

Nice one, I'll splice the power antenna in.

Thinking out loud here ... as you say the Sub and the Amp use the remote wire as sense wire.

The Antenna I'm not sure if it uses that as a sense wire whilst taking it's power source from another wire. How may wires does the antenna have in total ?

The power and ground were already there in the rear, only remote was run from the front

Yup as @Alexknight91 said, ground and live are where the power antenna is and the remote runs to the front. Pretty annoying though as I primarily use bluetooth but the antenna extends nonetheless.

Put an override switch in along the remote wire to the back. That way you can disable it.

Looking into the above to see if I get a switch that fits flush
