Who can spot what's wrong with this engine?
It's a diesel and it hung itself.
U want me make a wrist chain for u CJ? Snapped oil pump and timing chains could become the ultimate fashion accessory for a Honda nut and diesel hater like your self.
Mate I would get all the timing chains from I-CTDI gold platted give MR T the push off the cliff. Ideal Christmas present for the diesel lovers.
You always have a chain around your neck..
No body loves it?
Seriously though. Recon I could make some money out of the idea !! Who wants a ICTDI wrist chain??? Place your orders!
Could you make a noose for bad owners?
They are worthless rather get this around my neck to finish the job
They keep me in work so let them hang themselves with the paper invoice lol
This is an example why you should firstly check your oil and secondly if the oil pressure warning comes on. Don't just drive till the engine stops

I may just make one for my own amusement if nothing else!

If it wasn't for the muppet owners out there, you'd have time to re-build gearboxes
Lol very true.
You would be amazed to learn that the engine does now run, all be it with a lot of noise that shouldn't be there.. Lucky in one way that the fuel pump drive from the ex cam siezed when it did and starved the engine of fuel. This engine should have thrown a rod for sure! It's a testament to Hondas engines that it still runs.
hmm, coincidence or have you got another accord in with engine trouble?
Nothing a confidence when it come to diesel engine its inevitable they need a lot TLC and being on top of things to keep them ticking smoothly. I have to admit majority of the petrol owners are light years ahead when it come to diesel owners for preventative maintenance and never have issues..
It's a Civic. Although if you run a car with no oil in it doesn't really matter what model it is, it will go bang.
or on th other hand too much [whistles] walking quietly away dum de dum!
the above meaning if it starts filling up of its own accord [pun intended] beware .i,ll look after mine very carefully if and when i get it back....
