The first item under 'body': I think I'm getting this. I took a look today and there doesn't appear to be a grommet at all (if I'm looking in the right place - I'm assuming that it is where the steering mechanism disappears through a large cutting in the bulkhead?

    How can I rectify?

    Cheers.

Really? There's a definite engine noise that sounds like it shouldn't be there emanating from the drivers footwell. Perhaps this is normal but it just sounds like it shouldn't be there, as if some sound proofing or something is missing......

You will need to trace the source of the noise mate but I can't see that joint making that noise.
