    Hi all

Might seem like a daft question, but can anyone tell me if the switches controlling the radio, cruise control etc on the steering wheel should be illuminated? I always seem to be fumbling around for them when driving in the dark.

On the 7th Generation preface lift cars from late 2002 till 2004 did not feature backlit steering buttons.

All 7th Generation after 2005 did.

Spot on CJ. I had a 2005 pre facelift and the buttons lit up. No one believed me as they thought it was facelift only.

it's not easier to swap steering wheels ?, facelift steering is thicker and has that thumb rest places and has illuminated switches ;-)
