Well the reason for buying a Honda in the form of a FR-V turned up a couple of weeks ago in the form of Ava-Rose, so she's been keeping me a bit busy to say the least.
I keep popping in when I get a chance as this is a great site and full of knowledgeable, helpful folk. Sorry if I've missed anything I could have stuck my nose into lol.

    Ava-Rose.

6.8lb @Duc de Pommfrit tiny in comparison the others born that day. Was a little awkward bugger too causing all kinds of problems on the way out.

Congrats @Bones126. Is this your first little one? If so, welcome to the club of parenthood, get ready for many sleepless nights, but lots of hugs and cuddles to make up for it.

Got two boys myself, fantastic watching them grow and learn about the world. My eldest boy is now starting to develop some strength so he is always trying it out on me wanting to overpower me.

Congrats again, how is your significant other doing?

Thanks @Nighthawk, yeah this is my first but Becky's third. A baptism of fire for me you may say lol. Sounds like you have your hands full there. Becky is doing ok, few issues to sort but nothing too serious (hopefully).

    Cheers @DeviateDefiant,

My eldest had a rough start in life, born with a underdeveloped right lung, remained in ICU for almost 3 weeks inside an incubator, the first few days being touch and go. won't be embarrassed to say that those were the most emotional 3 weeks of my life.

Missus also suffered some issues, but thats the amazing thing about our bodies, it generally fixes itself. Your missus will be fine I am sure.

Congratulations again, now the fun begins.

Cheers @Nighthawk, I'm sure she will. It's a big OP really when you think about a C Section, and then add complications on top.

Sounds like you had a time of it too, makes you put things into prospective. Glad all is ok now mate.

Each birth is unique, but they must have assessed what was the safest procedure for both your other half and your baby depending on so many things. So if the C Section was the safest option for both of them, then the recovery period is worth it.

I hope your missus recovers quickly and gets herself back to full health soon. Enjoy the time with your daughter, it feels like my boys were only born yesterday. I was told that you never know the true meaning of how fast time flies until you have kids - so true. 10 years feels like its gone in a blink of an eye, I remember as clearly as anything holding him as he came out and now he is starting to develop muscle definition - its scary...
