Having broke my ICE scraper the other week after about twenty years. It was time for a replacement. Price was either very cheap or it did not look like it would last long, rubbish reviews on Amazon, bulky. Then I came across this on Amazon, Yes it was expensive about £12 from Amazon, well made with laser cut edges so should last (they claim can be re-cut with a diamond file), does a brilliant job of clearing ICE and frost from the car, it has a frost blade, ICE blade and even one to clean the wipers! size:-11.5cm x16cm x 5mm. Oh and a funky green/yellow colour.

or just search Amazon for Swedish ICE scraper, as there is about four to choose from, may be cheaper elsewhere but can't use ebay at work!

Hmm... I drove a Mondeo during the week and (depending whether I was wearing my driving glasses or not) the pattern of the front windscreen heating element was very distracting.

You must having amazing eyesight then. Even with my contacts in without trying to focus on it I can't see it while driving.

Heated windscreens are great, but clearing the glass manually keeps you intouch and reminds you of icy weather elements before driving off. And strangely, I like the prep routine of seasonal driving conditions
