You bought the very first Jazz. Love that car! Congratulations!
I am going to follow you in the process of bringing her back to its former glory.

Yay! I came so close to buying one last month but due to house move decided against it.

I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures of the whole process! Glad I've already got some support from you chaps! Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Well I saw the Ad on Car & Classic a few month back and just instantly fell in love. The chap i bought it off is an Ex Japanese Racing driver and he now collects Hondas and restores them in his spare time. Got the money together and bought her outright. Cheers for the support!

Decided to do a little bit of rust hunting today with the help of my Father. Noticed the off side window wiper was very, very wobbly. After having a proper look we found quite a bit of rot :Frown:
So we used a bit of Milk carton to waterproof the hole to avoid it from getting worse  Managed to get a few more pictures for you peeps too! Need to get myself a Haynes Manual to help with any more D.I.Y Maintenance too. I couldn't believe the amount of boot space i had with the seats fully folded away, it's insane! 20160919_180152. 20160919_181425. 20160919_183335. 20160919_185105.

So what will you do about the rust ? Are you handy with a welder ?

In regards to the surface rust on the body panels, i will sort that out myself with a touch of welding but when it comes to structural elements e.g. the sills. I'm going to be doing them with a friend of mine who specialises with chassis issues, as i'm not completely confident when it comes to structural element repair. Last thing i want to do it bugger up a cut or weld and end up weakening the car.

Edit: Just noticed i said i was going to weld surface rust. I meant the rotten body panels, the surface rust i'll just grind and touch up. whoops!
