Feedback/Help tappet ajustment k24 auto

    Hi i want to set the tappets on my 2005 k24 AUTO. Has any one got any information (EG) clearances and ajusting sequence and what sort of cam box gasket is it (gasket or rubber seal) all so does any one have the lower wishbone taque settings.

    This is a pretty good video and walks you through the process. He can be a bit of a cowboy but helpful anyway.



    intake .008-.010in .203-.254mm exhaust .010-.013in .254-.330 most suggest going .008 on the intake and .012 on the exhaust because the intakes usually loosen and the exhaust tighten over time. Gasket is usually fine to reuse as its a rubber one but if its not flexible or soft replace it.

    No idea on the torque setting for the lower wishbone someone else might be able to help.

    Make sure you only adjust them with the engine stone cold.
