I was in the Tesco cafe today and the waitress asked if I'd like anything on my burger. I said "Yes can I have a fiver on it each way?"

Apparently they're low in salt but high in Shergar!

Never rated burgers as a main meal.

    Prefer them as hors d'oeuvres.

Makes you laugh really, I expect the horse meat is the least of our worries, with all the other crap that is probably in them.

I'm surprised at the outcry really! We should be pleased they could identify the contents as some sort of "meat"!

I'd've expected it to be more like sweepings off the floor, sawdust and soot to be the main contents plus a few other nasties we don't want to even think about! :Rolf:

Plenty of sauce on them you'd never know!

I suppose they haven't told us what parts of the horse they found!!!!!!

After further tests on Tesco products, they've found traces of Zebra in their barcodes.

Sawdust? Thats too expensive nowadays try protein extracted from chicken feathers. At least horse is free range.

This will become a much bigger issue once/if the full story of whats going on with chickens comes out.

The cost per gram of either house or tree puts pay to that one. Maybe starling in the future.
Cannot go into it here but, feed and biological 'additives' should provide some foof for thought.
