I feel like question guy at the moment and haven't been able to give anything back to the forum yet!

I've got some marks on those vertical black strips that form part of the door frame (they separate the front and back windows) and not quite sure how to deal with the marks. I was thinking black touch-up paint but it will probably look pretty bad so I'm thinking of just masking the windows and spraying the whole strips. Does anyone know if it's a special kind of paint or what paint code it would be?

Slowly getting this Accord to as near perfection as possible!

Are we talking about the B pillar for the front door and the A pillar for the rear door here?

If we are these are covered by plastic covers with an adhesive backing, you can use cardboard paper make some templates. Then transfer over to carbonfibre effect adhesive paper.

It a simple cut and paste

    Hi guys, it's these bits:
    $(KGrHqV,!ocFBYyDS8n8BQYdkCgRQ!~~60_35.JPG

This isn't my car or photo, just to show as an example. Mine are black but have white bits all over where it's been scratched.

I've also found this awesome, although perhaps slightly overwhelming site, which is saying it's the door sash? (Linky) and is showing as a painted item. I'm wondering if a simple stick on would look better than having to mask up the car and paint?

    Cheers!

That's what I thought you meant, yes there are called door sash's.

You can buy replacement ones, or you could take your current ones off and do vinyl wrap them.

Looks like they are clipped into place.

Cheers for info re. part number. I've got a Honda main dealer 2 mins up the road from me so will pop in.

Ichiban, I'm looking to replace it completely, I'm assuming (hoping/praying) it will come painted?

    Cheers again!

They are plastic vinyl sheets they come coloured and pre cut into the shape of the pillar they are a tough to get on you need to remove the chrome door bezel to get a perfect fit.

Cheers. I've just ordered it from the local dealer and it'll be in tomorrow. £20 for what he calls "tape". Ouch!
