    Hi,
I've been around Honda's cars since 1972 and owned many .
My main expertise is 1st and 2nd generation Civic models and have owned 3rd and 5th generation Civics as well.
I'll not say more, but no doubt some of you will already know me from the 1stgencivic scene.
Looking forward to meeting new and old friends,
    See you soon.
    Pete

    Thanks for the welcomes, everyone.
    Chris, we've met already.
    Brands 2014.
slim's avatar car is mine, undergoing a brake rebuild at present.
I developed the 1stgen BC suspension kit on it. Once signed off by me, they went in to production. So any mistakes are down to me.
Mind, it was a team effort, fitting help from 2 people, supply chain by two more, my money up front, and some track input from slim. Other track input by my son who drag races a 1stgen Civic. He was 2nd in the Honda Drag Series last weekend for the fourth consecutive year.

Photos will be along soon, so much to share, so little time to type.

    Slim,
it's the first time that I've seen the full article,
What a cracking write-up, it says it all.
I know that I'm there in2016. Anyone else?

    Hi CJ
Big thanks, nice to get my old handle back.
    Why Thor?
It started many years back on another 1stgen Civic site. Before joining, I saw a post by someone calling himself Vulcan from somewhere called the United States of Mayhem or some such, actually coming out as Coventry. We became:Drinks:buddies and we are still good friends, he's soon to be a father [next week or the week after].
I had tried to get Vulcan because my grandfather was a blacksmith, and my father a ferric metallurgist [with Rust as a surname  ]. I settled for Thor instead.
Vulcan being the Roman god, Thor the Norse, both represented by hammers and anvils, also electricity [lightning], all used when restoring 1stgen Civic bodyshells.
Just a bit of nonsense between 2 friends really.
    Pete
ps I have been presented with several ''THOR'' brand hammers because of the association.

The name gets a nod from me, if my name was Stan I might be heard to exclaim "Excelsior!"
