Have you been brave enough to unbolt it yet?
Oh dear, not good. I have a smaller one in mine too, but it's close to the edge so staying put!
Wheels off the car. . is currently in the garage over from my brothers place. .
Let's see what they can do over lunch time.
That's not that big at all. I once got on to the M5, going down the slip road, just as I was about to join the first lane, I saw something shiney on the road but it was too late to avoid going over it with the wheels.
It was a flippin massive bolt that goes into the Armco barriers. The thing was good 6 to 7 inches long and a good 3/4 inch thick. I think the front wheels went over it and kinda propped it upwards, the rear wheel went over and the bolt just shot straight in to the tyre. The car then started bobbin up and down as the bolt was taller than the profile of the tyre LOL.
I quickly pulled over, got out and stood their in astonishment looking at this massive bolt sticking out of the tyre.
Needles to say that was the end of that pretty new Bridgestone Taranza tyre.
Hope it can be repaired for not too much. . .I only need the tyres for a couple more weeks. . . Typical.
It's near the edge so it should be OK.
That is why I stay clear of places like B&Q and trade merchants. That is one big @ss bolt.
All sorted. . . With no charge aswell
Good stuff !
