Going to reach out the organizers of totb to see about HK having a stand, what's involved and how much.

Dates are 26 and 27 July at Elvington airfield in York. Saturday and Sunday.

If I reach out now may have a chance we can exhibit some Hondas.

Once I get the low down of any costings health and safety etc I'll get a list of people together who would definitely come.

    Welcoming all Honda models

Who here would be up for coming.

Was too warm for a cuppa Micky. Was at the St Vincent Arms in Sutton on Derwent but no beer as I was driving. Then went to the air museum at Elvington 27 degrees it was melting hot.

That's somewhere I've not been to is it worth a look. I know they have a chieftain tank so it should be.

    Definitely worth a look Micky.
They've got all sorts there. Spitfire, Hurricane replica, Tornados, Harrier, a Dakota, Nimrod....
Friday 13th is in the hangar - a Handley Page Halifax.

They've also got one of only two remaining complete Handley Page Victor K2s as well. It's fully operational and does fast taxi runs occasionally but not allowed to fly as the CAA regs state there must be a minimum number of spare parts available to maintain air-worthiness which they don't have. Think they run the Nimrod on a fast taxi run as well. It's twice a year first Sunday in June an August.

This is what happened when the other remaining one accidentally took off on a fast taxi run at Bruntingthorpe.

Fortunately a retired V-Force Victor pilot was on board and he managed to jump behind the controls and bring her down safely.

Bruntingthorpe cold war jets day is awesome. I'll post some fast taxi footage if you want. A friend of my wife has a couple of Buccaneers that do fast runs.

    The Lightning was awesome.

Bruntingthorpe is a great day out.

The Lightning is awesome. I remember when they used to have one on the gates at RAF Boulmer on Northumberland coast. You could walk right up to it and around it in those days.
Now it's been replaced with a Phantom and that's all fenced off.

It may not be an old jet, but Honda's new aircraft is in the air.
