    Hi folks,

I have a Honda Accord 2005 (55) Tourer 2.0l petrol auto with rear parking sensors. I am planning to get a towbar fitted to allow me to tow a caravan next week and I am looking for a bit of advice, I am not sure if I can get away with a fixed swan neck (significantly cheaper than a detachable one) however I am not sure if this will interfere with the rear parking sensors. The shop that quoted for the work said that they wouldn't know for sure until it was fitted, which is not ideal. Does anyone have a fixed tow bar retro fitted and if so any issues?

I'd rather not pay the extra (almost double) to get a detachable one, it will end up being worth more than my car!!

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I've got fixed swan neck (bosal) on my tourer and it doesn't interfere with my sensonsors, there's about 15-20 cm distance from tow bar to sensor.
