Engine & Gearbox transmission fluid advice needed

    i want to change the transmission fluid in my CR-V automatic and id like some advice
    will i have to use only honda brand or can i use another suitable brand im thinking of the cost if i do a triple change to completely renew fluid
    local honda dealer is charging around £15 a litre

    it's recommended to use genuine honda oil even for manual transmision, so my advice is to use Honda AMF :Wink:

    I always stick with Honda transmission fluid and nothing else.

    People have used other manufacturer oil and soon found returning to Honda oils things just work perfectly.

    Honda oils are fantastic oils I just wished people had more faith in them.

    I agree stick with the Honda stuff, I got MTF from Holcroft Honda at a very reasonable price and it even arrived 9am the next morning

    According to "Honest John" in Telegraph the only way to fully replace Auto transmission oil is by some transfusion process which is best done by independent auto transmission specialist. You could check web site for more details.
