Reading the Hondata technical information on the TSX CL9 face-lift about the improvements received:

    Reflash - TSX 2006 TSX MT/AT K24A2

I was wondering what does it involves to have the "1mm intake valve oversized" on our Euro CL9?

Also did we receive anything from the above list on our Euro CL9? (for instant stronger rods)

I'd assume it need either new valve seats installing or current ones machine.

Question is, what it the gain and is the gain worth it ?

I'm not sure what the answer is to your last question.

    @DeviateDefiant any thoughts ?

We didn't receive any of the TSX Facelift improvements at all unfortunately. On its own it's not worth having your valves ported +1mm, a lot of expense for little gain. But it is worth doing if you're getting something like a CNC machine ported head with upgraded valvetrain/cams.

The little list or improvements does make a difference together, I've actually gone a bit further with most already (still conservatively though):

Intake valve + 1 mm oversize (Built head is my next stage)
Intake cam High lift lobe with 0.9 mm more lift and 12 degrees more duration (I use this cam)
Throttle body increased from 60-64mm (65mm)
Radius on some intake pipes increased from 70-80mm (primary 88mm)

Exhaust Head pipe increased from 60-65mm (60mm)
Higher flow catalytic converter (None atm)
Main (single) exhaust pipe increased from 54-57mm (60mm)
Rear (twin) pipes increased in diameter from 42.5 to 45mm (50.8mm)

I have also almost all of the upgrades except for the 1mm oversized intake valve I mentioned (not clear how to achieve that) and a larger exhaust (I might put one in the near future).

Maybe an entire head from CL9 tsx face-lift will include all of the above including the 1mm oversized intake valve (I will need the head and the valves, the test of the parts I have them already).

But might not worth it unless found cheap. Otherwise a k20 head swap might be a better option I think as it can flow more air, right?

I don't think it's worth using a Facelift TSX head, it still won't flow as well as a K20 head (RSP/PRB/RBC), they already have larger valves (37mm I think?).

Yes true, unless found very cheap from those swapping for a k20 head
