Will the Type-R 18" 7 Spoke Alloys fit an FR-V? Quite like the look of them and think the car needs bigger wheels :dribble:

no worries, they're bolt on just make sure you use genuine wheel nuts if you don't have them already as honda wheels has ball seat where aftermarket wheels has tapered seat, see picture what I mean

Will do @Nels , in thought process at the moment. Going to keep an eye out for a decent set and if the right price may go for it, will need new tyres all round at some point this year so thinking do I go for new wheels and tyres, Type-R's etc etc. See what comes up, need to be careful how I go about it with the Mrs still on maternity leave :Niceone:

Would be nice to keep with Honda wheels though.

They would look nice on the car. If you do buy them I would be interested in your 17"s if your selling them.

I'd like to see an FR-V with 18" wheels - I think it would look so much better.

OK, so I've found some wheels I'm going to look at Saturday, taken off the car after 200 miles from new and have been stored for 2 years, has bridgestone tyres on with 7-8mm tread as like new really.
The guys is going to hold them for me with no obligation to buy and says I can try them on my car first if I like.

So, if I do have them. I will be selling my 17" wheels which have just had 4 new tyres on!
@kes , if your still interested and I have them are you interested?

    Hi @SpeedyGee

Not sure at this point, I have to take into account I've just paid £250 for 4 new tyres which have done below 300 miles and the condition of the wheels> which is not excellent but not bad, just normal rim edge scuff for a 8 year old car (if I go ahead with these wheels I'll post pics of each wheel).
    Open to offers though :Niceone:

Those Type-R alloys look lovely, what is the seller asking for them?

@Bones126 - when you have decided on the cost of the amount of your current alloys, just create a seperate post to keep everything organised

    Will do @Nighthawk

The guy is asking £645, more than I wanted to pay but he insists they were taken off the car from new with under 200 miles on the clock and have been stored since. So thinking not such a bad price considering??

Not when you consider Bridgestone tyres for that car are around £120 a corner. They look very clean on those pictures, no staining inside the rims, but they could have just been refurbished.

£645 show room for manouver I think, take 600 cash and offer that to him on the spot

Remember that tyres over 7 years old can fail the MOT.
