2013 2 litre petrol CR-V - mainly short hops & town driving. What is a reasonable expectation of front tyre life on the original Continental x contacts

I don't own a CR-V but can give a good estimate. if the tyres are properly inflated at regular intervals and tyres rotated at 10K miles you should expect 25K miles from all four tyres.

I was told many years ago................"The problem with rotating tyres is you need to replace all of them at once"

I've never rotated my tyres, seems a bit of a faff for not much gains.

Rotating tyres won't save you any money but it should provide more even stability especially with an AWD car.
