    Hi there!

I just gave my son a 2002 Honda Accord 1.8 (F18B2) Hatchback. The standard factory stereo that came with the car when new sounds ok but he would like to upgrade it with a new Pioneer DEH-X5600BT ( or rather: he would like ME to do the job  ).

Do I need any special plugs/harnesses to do the job, or will the factory harnesses fit with a new unit?

Also: Looking for new speakers for the front and rear doors. Does anyone know what size would fit without doing a lot of extra work? Any good speakers that are "slim" enough to fit? Pricerange of £100-150,00 for a pair.

Appreciate any answers or suggestions you might have. Thanks!

    Kind regards, Knut, Norway

This is a VERY late reply - but yes, I managed to install the headunit without any problems. Everything fits nicely
