    Are you considering any other performance mods? Remapping can bring much more impressive gains without the need for costly hardware like a FMIC that can be difficult to fit. The stock SMIC is pretty good.

    I am going to be remapping it, but fancied the intercooler aswell..
    have read that it is best to get the intercooler before the remap.

    Honda Civic 2.2 Diesel i-CTDi FMIC | UNIVERSAL-INTERCOOLERS

    found this one made for the Civic,, wonder if it would be a straight fit for mine with the engine being the same (although I could be way off)

    I don't think those universal ones will be any better than the OEM one.

    You need a decent dual pass one to make any difference.

    anything to recommend to go along with the remap ,, or would it be best just to stick to that.

    My car is remapped and I realised on the motorway the intake temperature rise higher than I woukd like with bursts of acceleration. The data was taken from a scan gauge.
