[We are waiting for the salvage truck to come and collect my dads 1999 Honda Accord but the fuel tank has over £50 worth of petrol in it! We have bought a syphon pump to transfer this over to his new car but it is not working. I have read that these cars have an anti syphoning thing in the tank, is there anyway around this. I phoned the salvage company and they said that there isn't, (but they would definitely get this fuel out themselves when they get it back to there yard) Please help, cheers

Can you get to the fuel tank from the inside of the car, under the rear seats/carpet? Would this diagram help at all in showing what I mean:

You could always disconnect the fuel line from the fuel Rail and turn the key
