    Hey all,
I'm in need for some urgent help.
the thing is, i just thought i should do an engine decoke so what i did is, just unscrewed the air intake going into the engine side, unclipped the sensor thingy while the engine was running and had a look whats inside and then just went inside the car and saw that orange engine light come up, so i thought ok i'll just plug everything back in and it should go away, but the thing is, its 'not' :Sobbing:
I'm very confused now plz help, as i need to go a few places over the weekend and am a bit worried about that engine light.
I've attached pic of the intake pipe that i disconnected

Also, i found oil inside that rubber intake pipe, is that normal?

Don't worry about it, if you've plugged everything back in properly, the light will go off after a couple of restarts of the engine.
Also a bit of oil in the inlet pipe that's fine, the engine breather pipe is connected from the rocker cover so a little bit of oil is expected in there.

Its quite normal for that to happen you have removed the air intake temperature sensor it warning it was short.. clear the code and it will be fine.

oil is normal but excessive oil means your engine is overfilled check your oil levels.

Disconnect the battery is the easiest way to try but I doubt it will remove the MIL you need a snap code reader or HDS to remove.

Just drive the car mate, the light will clear it self after a while.
