I wish the narrator called Honda Car a Car and not a veeehickle
Would love one of these.
Having driven an 8th Generation over there, it is a superb car. I didnt want to give it back!
if the yen situation does not improve we could see the 9th Generation coming from the states, they may pull the plug on Sayama made Accords for decades.
A picture of the Sayama production line
That wouldn't be a bad move. I'd certainly buy one, without question.
Have you driven the 8th G version in the US?
My brother lives in Frisco and when I am down next time I will drive one for sure bud. Helen won't be happy as I spend all my time at dealership and aftermarket mod shops.
can't be helped
I drove the 2.4, and its a fantastic car. It really is.
You'd never imagine that it was US-built.
Can you get a manual in the states for the 2.4 ? US built Accord not bad at all bud, my ma had a 4th Generation Accord Aerodeck and they were amazing.
So angry when she sold it without asking me
Saj I did the first oil change on my 8th Generation and found a american oil filter. It just shows you Honda Japan is not using their own parts made in Japan.
All my Honda owned in the past have has Japanese oil filter, I know its insignificant but shows how things are panning out in the global economy
I wouldn't worry too much CJ.
The Accord in the US and the Acura TSX petrol models are like Tonka toys. They are utterly bomb proof so its no bad thing at all. Also, depending on the location, some US Honda cars do indeed have filters come from Japan as opposed to US-derived ones. If you're on the west cost (closer to Asia), the likelihood is that some filters do indeed come from Japan.
Ruuf,... couldn't see the dog...
Thought this might be of interest. 2013 Honda Accord Overview Take a look at the video: Honda is also offering a V6 motor.
