Does anyone know if the VSA module replacement warranty extension applies to 08 plate FR-V? The VSA warning triangle has come on whilst driving. Pressing the VSA button does nothing. Any suggestions? Could this be linked to having the front hubs messed with a couple of days ago (wheel studs replaced)?

Hi bud,You need to check the brake fluid level in the brake master cylinder.Need to hook up the car to a diagnostic reader to ascertain is the error is being generated by the VSA module or a wheel sensor. If its the dreaded DTC 66-1 then that end of your VSA modulator , speed sensor are relatively easier and cheaper fix.

    Thanks.
As FR-V is not on TSB Bulletin No SK-07-007-00 dated 01-11-2010, then I assume it is not in the faulty batch of VSA modulators? Hence no warranty replacement of VSA...

A couple of days later, the battery was flat as the children had left the interior lights on, Maybe this was the issue. Unfortunately the dead battery also cleared all the ECU codes, so there was nothing on the code reader.

Low battery or poor battery condition can result in some funny issues. If the VSA light hasn't come back on after some driving, you can forget about this issue.
