Tyres & Wheels Wheel nuts

    Does anyone know how tight the wheel nuts need to be.

    Tyre pressure aswell please..
    18s ,, with the car carrying some weight.

    From what I know torque doesn't change. It should be to manufacture spec. 108 NM (Newton Metres) or 80 Ft lbs (Foot Pounds)

    The wheel sizes are different but they all have the same torque.

    Cheers. . Set to 80 ft lbs. .
    Went for 45 psi in the tyres.

    45psi seems a little high. I would have thought around 32-35psi mark would be enough.....unless anyone knows better of course.

    35 normally and up to 37 for fully loaded and long motorway journeys.
    As already said, 108 nm for the wheel nuts.

    I might put them up to 37 then ,, as there is a bit of weight in there.

    I thought the tyre pressure was in the door.

    I remember doing mine for the first time (to 37) and the front left had 18!!!

    If it's after market wheels you're safer contacting the tyre company with the size and car and they should tell you
