I'm going through the Pioneer SPH-DA110's installation instructions to ensure I have everything needed when it's time to install, and I noticed that on the power cord, there's a cable that is for REVERSE GEAR SIGNAL INPUT (see picture below, highlighted in green square). Could anyone tell me where on a 2004 Honda Civic Type-S I would connect this cable to ? Is there a special connector / switch, or do I need to rig it to the gear lever somewhere, or maybe connect it to the reverse light power ?

I'd follow the reverse light power wire further up the chain and splice from there to run to the head unit.

Yep, I second that, use reverse light positive as power source.
