Just got back from the French Pyrenees about 2,500 miles round trip from Calais. The latest pictures are about 2,800 meter up at a place called Col de Tentes just to the south of Gavarnie in the Pyrenees. The car performed faultlessly as expected.
I hope there was space in the boot for du vin on the return leg!
@Nels indeed there was!!!!!!! hic.
Unfortunately I did as there was just to much damage to contemplate a repair, at the time most forums did not exist, but not completely as I still have the locking wheel nuts!
Ahh thats a shame, look in really good nick!
What happened to the 4th Generation? Did you scrap it?
Hopefully going to replace the black plastic door garnishes with stainless ones, interior lights with LED's. The only changes I've made so far are update the Sat Nav DVD and replace the front side lights with LEDs as they are a pain to change on the N/S. Wish list: stainless twin exhaust, body kit, tinted windows would be nice &maybe a remap!!!
What photos would you like to see?
Any interior and exterior shots that you like. Have a browse at some of the other 8th gens in the Garage and then you can decide.
Old CB7 pictures removed, so you've got a clean screen for your CW3
A tourer with side protection strips. Do you have the doorstep garnishes too?
