Nice write up Phil
Clear and easy to follow.
i have a honda accord 2.0 2007 automatic and i am changing the fluid on the transmission . how about the filter is it outside of transmission ? it looks like that on the 2.4 us model cars . i live in iceland and we have the same cars here as uk models . can you guys tell me if and where the filter is thanks ?
The main filter is inside the gearbox and is a costly job to replace. You need the box removed. With a regular trans oil change you have no need to worry unless you start getting shifting issues and so on.
thanks for the answers guys i was just wondering about the filter that is outside on the top of the transmission and if i can replase it
my car is 2.0 not 2.4 . why do they move my thread this 2.4 ATF page ?
same principle dude.
The 2.4's do have an external filter, I'm not sure about the 2.0
