The thing about car clubs is that they're most often made up by dedicated enthusiasts. As a casual browser trying to troubleshoot issues with your car, it can be hard to cut through the "technical jargon" to figure out what the solution is in laymen's terms. The terminology used can be quite intimidating and off-putting. To aid understanding the strange abbreviations thrown about, we've started automatic replacement for some of the more commonly used acronyms. Examples: ABS, SRS, VSA, CMBS, LKAS, ARB, HDS, DTC ICE, ECU, CEL, CAI, SRI, I/H/E AOC, HK, HH, HRC, BTCC, WTCC JDM, EDM, UKDM, USDM MOT, DVLA, V5C OP, TLC, AFAIK, IIRC CH1, CL7, CL9, DC5. EK9, EP3, FD2, FN2 Even a certified Honda Tech might not be familiar with terms used on forums like OP, a good mechanic who's unfamiliar with Honda certainly won't know chassis codes off the top of his head, and foreign browsers might even be wondering what an MOT or the DVLA is. We've only just started adding these in, there's plenty more to go. While we don't want to go over the top, please feel free to drop your suggestions below. Be aware some things can't easily be replaced, HIM (Honda Interface Module) in lowercase is the word "him", we can't go replacing that automatically. If you spot any cases where this is happening and the wrong thing is being replaced, please let us know.
