Electrical & Lights a very simple question

    What do the numbers on the display of the CR-V EX mean?

    I can identify the mileage reading easily enough.

    There is a number beneath the mileage reading prefixed by an "A" (e.g. A 5812)

    When you push the button to check the MPG, you get another number prefixed by a "B" (e.g. B 2314) and then one that says "range" after the MPG figure.

    My presumption was that these would indicate service intervals or oil changes?

    Two different resettable tripmeters plus the main odometer.

    Why the two? Whats the difference between them? And what is the range?

    It's just two different counters. You don't have to use either of them if you don't want to.

    You could however on Trip A rest and use that to see how far a particular journey was whilst leaving Trip B to track how many miles you have done on this tank.

    Two trip counters just give you the option to do that.
