Hello to everyone, new to the forum after purchasing my 3rd Accord.
Welcome aboard sir !
Welcome to AOC from just up the road!
Welcome to the club Duc
Thanks for the hellos, as a very active member and shop keeper of a Mazda 3 forum I'm keen to start joining in.
Car history so far is L reg Accord LS, S reg Accord ES Exc, followed by Mazda 3 TS, Mazda 3 Sport and now Accord 07 SE. Switching from a Mazda 3 Sport 2.0l to the Accord 2.0l is a big change, two very different cars but so far glad I made the switch back to an Accord.
My first mod is going to be fitting an OEM sat nav in, think I've opened a can of worms on this one but will keep at it. Just collecting the part, so far I have headunit, DVD, housing, new dash top, sat nav aerial, wiring loom and a strange long plastic part which is puzzling me. Still missing amp/sat nav amp? Questions to follow before I start the install but in no hurry to start.
Not sure on the site rule about posting picture but these are my last two Accords
No rules against it at all, quite the opposite, we love seeing pictures of everyone's cars
Both of your Accords look well maintained and beautifully detailed! You can get your latest Accord added into our garage section.
My Accord has had an OEM Sat Nav fitted at some point in its life, does sound like you have almost everything you need although I'm not sure on any amplifier Someone here will be able to advise you either way.
Cheers, both my Accords had about 60k on the clock at time of pictures taken.
Both your Accords looking good DdP. Yep we love pictures
There was a thread on hear where someone had done a Sat Nav retro fit.
Post pics of what you have got so far. Which amp are you talking about, the audio amp is in the big box that is behind the touchscreen.
The Sat Nav electronics are in all in the DVD drive unit for the Sat Nav.
Do a separate full thread on your Sat Nav retro fit, would be great to follow, also we can advise you where you get stuck.
One last picture before posting pictures of my new Accord (needs a good polish first), this one at the bottom of the buttertub pass
Hey @Duc de Pommfrit your 5th Generation's the same colour as mine
Was a great car and that is the only picture I ever took of it.
At least you've got that to remember her by
I think the ones I've posted are the only shots I've got too
