    Hi all,

I've had my Accord since november but since the hot weather has arrived I can hear banging noises under the car near my pedals when I'm stopping and starting. I can hear 3-5 separate bangs each time. It does not happen above 10mph or when the weather isn't hot. I had it checked by a Honda garage and they can't find anything loose. It's a 58 plate 2.2 I-DTEC with 49k on the clock. Any ideas as to what it could be?

What's been checked and eliminated ?

Things that need to be checked are exhaust mounts, anti roll bar, drive shafts, suspension component.

Check your wheel nuts...In my earlier DIY days on my Nova (cough) I never done up the wheel nuts enough on the offside (driverside) front. I could hear and feel a rumble when stopping and pulling away but not necessarily at speed.
