my problem is i have too many tools and over the last year i have been having a clear out many going to the son in law but sadly still look out for deals like the large front leg spring compressor i bought very cheap at £35 son in law will end up with it as i may do a spring compression once a year but if i find any i will pass it on
but best time is first 2 weeks after xmas when the big stores are getting ready to restock and want rid of the old

You can be surprised what can come through. I am keeping an eye on this want that to drop in price.

I want a low wattage motor that I can run off my generator rather than running on mains where the cost of residential power will be higher than the generator.

best deal you will get on a compressor is from lidl/aldi first they come in twice a year at around £80-£100 then 4-5 weeks later they have x amount left last year they sold them off for £35 if you hunt around you will see many big names on tools no more so than compressors they all come from the same place just a different name if you was to order i think its 100+ from china you can have any name you want stamped on it

the lidl/aldi was to give you an idea on what to look out for
if you want quality then what you are looking at is a diy tool they are not made for quality when i went to Hitachi in milton keynes some years ago to have a drill repaired they gave me all the info i needed and i have used ever since they evan upgraded my drill to commercial standard for free great service from them
the smaller compressors don't take much power with small tanks all the diy compressors have a week point the reed valve do a search you will see what i mean and you can't buy the part you have to make your own simple to do though

This web site might be useful, if you buy anything from Amazon - not just tools, it's a tracker and emails you when the price drops - I'm not associated with this web site, just a user/member.
