Hi, I have a 1999 Honda Civic 1.6iLS Coupe that I have just struggled to get through it's MOT on emmissions. The tester said the Cat was knackered and he had tried to get one but all the stockists said they were no longer listed. Luckily the tester tried a few more times and evenyually managed to get it through the emmissions. He said my only hope for next year would be a used Cat off the likes of Ebay. Does anyone know if the same Cat is used on models other than the Coupe as that model is pretty rare now. Thanks, Barry

Hi Andy thanks for that. Sorry I will introduce myself when I have explored the site. I have seen that Cat advertised but it is a different shape to mine which was fitted by Halfords a number of years ago. That one appears to be flat whereas mine is perfectly cylindrical. If they are that easy to find on the Internet why would the wholesaler tell my garage they were no longer available. Thanks Barry

Just thought I'd attach a couple of photos if it helps. The Cat is about 43cm long and is attached at the front to a manifold pipe that comes down and then is about another 40cm long
