Could be the Clutch master cylinder or the Slave cylinder, check the slave first then try master.

Ok so there are 2 cilinders i was also thinking about the cilinder but seems be 2 the place where the slave is located is that by the pedal or near gearbox.
And for me its rare why one time on the many times i use the clutch. And what and how to check the cilinder.
    Thanx for reply

Could be the seal inside has turned over and jammed the piston.
Usually these things happen over time, is the fluid level OK not low?
Any leaks at the slave cylinder?

i got exact same problem. some times my pedal goes to the bottom, sometime is acting normal. but eventually it does go to bottom and never returned. and i cannot engage any gear anymore. Took to local mechanic - they changed clutch set - after that problems is gone,

master and save clutch cylinders were absolutely okay and they left not changed
