    Totally off topic I'm afraid;

    I'm very happily divorced and lucky enough to have landed on my feet again. My question to the good people of this forum is;.....I've developed a habit over the years where when I'm at the stove I'm usually glugging down a rather nice bottle of wine and i find my creativeness in the scullery rather good.
    When there is no bottle of grape juice to be had my cheffing takes a bit of a dive and often opt for a pizza with the obligatory oven chips.

    I often feel I was the love child of the late great Keith Floyd.
    Does anyone else have this affliction? Or should I seek help at AA?

    I'd forget the food and just stick to the wine if I were you :drinking:

    Also very happily divorced, and have also landed on my feet recently.

    Can't cook, don't care - that's what good restaurants / ready meals / KFC were invented for (delete as appropriate) - but the wine is an essential regardless!

    You're not quite back to firing on all cylinders if you let this happen.

    Hmmmm, that reminds me. I'm down to my last box of white. Better buy some more or the boss will not be amused. :wifeslap:
    I haven't run out though. There're are plenty of bottles of white still left, and a few more boxes and bottles of red. :drunk:

    (@DeviateDefiant can we have the smiley drinking wine back again? Clearly, there are a few more lovers of grape juice on here than previosly thought:Wink:)

    Blimey Nels, I thought I liked a glass but definitely not in your league. Do you own an off licence?

    Still on the subject of wine, why do wine makers of today increasingly go for high content alcohol, IE 13-14-15% It spoils the joy of quaffing a bottle on your own. You end up getting pole axed
    with still a glass or two left in the bottle. :drunken:

    Ha, ha. I actually don't drink much. Just find boxes more convenient.
    I do agree that stronger wines do take some of the enjoyment away.
