I have unfortunately managed to put a 3 inch rounded dent in my front nearside bumper, on the angle. Having read the guide on grill replacement and bumper removal I shall give that a miss. If I loosen a couple of bits of trim under the wheelarch I reckon I could get something in there and to tap it out from the inside. This worked quite well in the old days when cars were all metal, but this is plastic. Any thoughts please on whether this might work or am I liable to cause further damage, or even set the passenger airbag off?

    Thanks

Just googled what to do on a search 'Plastic bumper repair'. Have a look at the hot water treatment. Might actually work if I can get behind it, or a sink plunger if not. Otherwise looks like a hair drier might work too

No need for replies now. I'll let you know if it works
