How many 8th Generation owners knew that you could extend the arm rest in the centre tunnel and bring it forward, nice for those shorter arms!

Just hold open the catch release and slide it forward

That functionality is on the 7th and 8th Generation Accords.

I must admit, it was quite some time after I'd had my CN1 before I discovered that the armrest moved forwards. :Blushing:
In my defence, initially, it was very tight and difficult to slide.

I only figured it out by accident when i lifted it up and looked under the top and saw a strange looking flat panel. I thought there was another compartment under the lid and it was by chance that I was still gripping by the handle whilst pulling in different directions that it moved.

I once knew, but I forgot it. I don't slide it out. But thanks reminding.

One thing I don't like is the 8th Generation has a sliding cover but the little card clip and shallow top storage in the 7th Generation has gone!
OK it has a cooled centre box now and a USB connector but that top tray was handy for little bits and pieces that get lost in the deep bin of the 8th Generation

Have you found this yet? when filling up there is a slot in the open door to clip the filler cap into, save it dangling and maybe getting torn off.! PS it has taken me 4 years to find this and near as long to find the open "pockets" on the transmission tunnel. Learning every day LOL

That's been on Honda vehicles for quite a while.

    I'm glad you're using it now.
