    does anyone know how often diesel filters should be changed, mine has been on for about 3 years, thinking i need to do it.

    is it best to use a genuine one or could you get away with using a Bosch one?

    It's always worth a phone call to HH for a price. Just remember to check that they've included HK Club Discount - They usually do once they've marked your account as a HK eligible customer.

    @Mark11
    Theres endless threads about people not using genuine honda filters despite others being bosch units.
    The symptom is hesitation upon acceleration and low fuel pressure i think.

    When they replace it back with a genuine unit, the issue is always resolved.

    By all means you can try them but it is a well covered subject on the diesel models.

    Other filters like the oil, air and pollen are fine for using 3rd party but to be honest the price difference between HH's prices and third party brands arent much different.
    I depend on my car so always stick in genuine items where i can.

    Hope it helps
