Had my CR-V just over six weeks now and first long trip from Hampshire to Scotland done, Motor went great with 51.5 MPG (on the computer anyway) motorway speeds and mix of other roads, just stopped off after 8 hrs with stops at Greatna Green for the night then up to Glen Coe in the morning. Pleased so far that I replaced the Tiguan with the CR-V after it was written off.

One of our members had a 2.2 CR-V and regularly returned astounding MPG from his.
    The 2.2 I-DTEC is a smashing power unit - It's a Honda!

I'm considering Glen Coe for the summer. Although the autumn would be better for "that photo"

Summer will be midge season though. We have stayed on the ccc site in June previously and was bad then.
My photo is looking back towards Glencoe from Loch Linnie.

Is the CCC site at Glencoe ok then? I've not been too impressed with their sites so far.

Yes it's a good site right by the visitor centre,we also liked the CAMC site at Bunree but that gets busy. Glasgow M74 roadworks were a right pain this morning, planned to get on the M73 towards Striling then head across but slip road closed and diversion takes you almost through Glasgow on the M8 so carried on over the Erskine bridge and up Loch Lomond.
