image. image. Hello all. Visually it looks ancient but it's only been used a few times on my Accord. Flanges are already attached to the CAT. Looking at £175 cash ONO. Collection preferred. Can post at your expense.

    Cheers

That is correct. The cells are clean, not blocked it's just external wear. I rest my case

I'd sand blast it mate, you're far more likely to get people biting with it not visually looking so worn.

I would but don't have the means to at home. Will see if the financial benefits of getting it done are reasonable first

Well a wire brush and some sand paper for a fiver would also do, just a lot more laborious

Ok folks I had a go at sanding and using a wire brush on the CAT but the best bet would be a sand blast. Here are some more pictures. As mentioned earlier it is only surface rust. The CAT is in working order. I've also noted dimensions for help to the buyer. If your :tut: about getting it shiny I leave that to you.

£150 cash collected or can post at your expense. Reasonable offers welcome. :Niceone:

Faz any movement on this, cats do get hot especially a high flow one without a cat shield. A cat with a shiedl assist in cooling and act as barrier for corrosion. So corrosion expected.

Still for sale. It has got a cat shield at the back it's visible in the picture. I can take another one of the other side if required.
