Heads up we may see this in the 9th Generation Civic by 2012 December. If you are looking for the Civic It will be worth waiting for the more frugal Civic.
Today at Paris Motor Show Press Conference, Honda's European President, Manabu Nishimae announced the addition of an all- new Civic ‘wagon'- style model to the Honda range and confirmed the introduction of a new Civic Type-R, for Europe, in 2015.
The new Civic Wagon may be the first signal the Accord Tourer has its aerodeck brother waiting in the wings!

Good news on the Type-R but with all things Honda it best to wait to see what unfolds and see what arrives at the showroom.
I have seen all of this far too often people slate honda but change their tune when they see the car in the flesh.
