Electrical & Lights How to remove third brake light?

    Do you now how to remove the third break light? I would like to change the lamps for LEDs.:Grin:

    Mine break light is different has more than one lamp I think its 5 and has no access from inside the trunk.

    Unfortunately the brake lights are at the top on the hatchback so the best advice I can offer is remove all visible screws in that area then heat the plastic up with a hairdryer and carefully prise each clip off till the cover pops out. I suspect its somewhat different for saloons.

    You have to push the unit toward front of car and then pull it out, detach 2p connector and then dissemble the unit to take bulbs out.

    I changed the lamps and put some LEDs.

    Looks good, the output doesnt seem to be as uniform as standard bulbs, but the led is giving out a nice pattern :Tongue:

    I think that if the LEDs were red it stay better but they are white and that's the problem.
