HR-V temporary spare wheel kits are now available under the following part numbers for 17 Year Model cars onwards. For S models with boot box : 06421-T8M-305HE For SE and EX models without boot box : 06421-T8M-306HE NOTE: These kits are not suitable for 16 Year Model HR-V as there is no fixation point in the spare wheel well floor. Kit Contents Installation. 1. Install the tyre and valve on to the rim in the normal manner. 2. Apply the 80 KPH sticker (F) to the wheel rim, as shown. 3. Remove the original tyre pressure sticker from the door jamb and install the relevant additional tyre pressure sticker (G or H) in the same position. 4. For installation of the kit into the rear of the vehicle, please follow the relevant procedure below depending on whether the vehicle is fitted with or without bootbox. Models with boot box. 1. Lift the boot floor lid and remove the boot box. (This part is no longer required) 2. Install the temporary spare wheel into the well and fix with the anchor bolt (A) and spacer washer (B). NOTE: The correct orientation of the spacer washer for temporary spare wheel (D) and full size wheel (C). 3. Transfer the jack and tools into the new boot box (Supplied in the kit) and install it on top of the temporary spare wheel. Models without boot box. 1. Lift the boot floor lid. 2. Diesel models Only: Lift the back edge of the boot floor carpet and remove the under carpet boot floor spacer (A) (Part no longer required) 3. Locate the centre of the locating boss on the boot floor carpet (B) and make a hole with a sharp tool. With this point as the centre, cut a cross (20mm x 20mm) through the carpet surface and fold the edges in. 4. Install the temporary spare wheel into the well and fix with the anchor bolt (A) and spacer washer (B). NOTE: The correct orientation of the spacer washer for temporary spare wheel (D) and full size wheel (C).
