Engine & Gearbox i-CTDi Injector removal?

    i think its just the seal on the injector. I've got a faint bit of smoke coming up where the injector sits in the rocker which is sending the fumes into the car. I've sprayed WD down and i can see it spitting out. there is no diesel coming out.

    If the injector is loose, then it's a case of will the bolt come out.

    I cannot advise doing it yourself, as they do break. It's a decision for you Mark.

    Have a look through YT, as there are videos on there that may help you decide.

    As @Nels said they can be a pain to repair and are common to be stuck in and sometimes the bolt to snap, also i believe if new injector is fitted has to be coded to vehicle using HDS.

    They are a pain, I tried to take it out but was struggling then my mechanic friend whk was with me at the time took it off easily.
    These is what you need, just one.
