Electrical & Lights Interior light dimmer

    The interior light of my accord stays on only for 3 seconds when I enter. His there any way of extend that time?

    No, with door open it does not go off. I´m saying after I close the door it stays on for only 3 sec.

    Close the door later mate.. simpler than adding another device to increase the delay.

    I just slide the switch to the 'On' position for the times I need to keep it on longer than 3secs, then put it back as I drive away.

    Sorry mate, you can't change the relay for the door timer, as there isnt one. It is actually a body control unit, located and attatched to the back of the fuse box on the passenger side under the glovebox. I know this as I managed to blow mine up completely when I fitted LED bulbs to my car and one of them went faulty, blowing both the fuse and the control unit.
