Morning All. MOT is due soon and was going to check rear brakes. When I lowered the car after inspecting, my rear right jack point on the sill bent inwards. I realise that a buckled jack point will fail the car but is their an alternative jacking point so that I can at least get brakes done before I take it in.

I don't think the hydraulic jack I have will be tall enough to use the towing hook. Last resort is to put that jack on a large concrete brick. Anyone able to suggest another point under the right rear i could use for long enough to get wheel off?

    Thanks for any suggestions

Use the corner blocks from a pallet. There nice and soft so they don't do any damage to the undersealing, unlike cement blocks.
